Ferrari Enzo Successor To Launch in Early 2011
Ferrari will certainly produce a super sedan Enzo successor. The Italian manufacturer is sure going to start selling these super cars early next year.
Adopting a concept model Millechili, F70 Enzo successor is going to focus on weight reduction and being targeted just as heavy as 1000 kilograms, using an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber material.
The new entrants will borrow aerodynamics, carbon fiber and aluminum honeycomb from the Enzo supercar in 2002.
“But this model will not be as great as the Enzo,” said Ferrari technical director Roberto Fedeli on Thursday (05/20/2010).
The model will be more likely to 328 or 288 GTO model, because by adding Fedeli, this latest Enzo is a practical supercar, with a total weight of one ton.
While for the engine performance, the latest Enzo going to transplant a V8 engine that powered by 458 Italy 562 bhp, with the possible addition of Twin Turbocharger.
Enzo F70 acceleration should be 000-100 km per hour in three seconds with a topspeed 321.8 km per hour. So they can make it as a car that is faster than Ferrari 458 models of Italy.
And in accordance with the objectives of the project emission cuts, a more economical fuel consumption that is 25 mpg, or about 10.6 km per liter. Better than a Ferrari 458 Italy which only 21 mpg, or about 8.9 kilometers per liter.
Although there has not been any discussion about the estimated price, but the most likely expected to be in the range of £ 350 000.
