Subaru has recently announced their latest generation of flat four engines to the world. The Subaru Flat Four, or Boxer is Subaru’s core engine used in most of its line up. All models except their small town cars utilize this engine which is considered as the odd person out in an industry where the standards is the traditional in-line four cylinder engine.
