Review: Chevrolet Cruze

First saw the looks of Chevrolet Cruze, one can immediately guess, this is the typical of American sedan. Yes, General Motors managed to maintain it at its new sedan, the Chevrolet Cruze, though not born on American land.

Cruze was born in Korea have a line that looks are not rigid, thanks to a large grill-rise, which is slicked up with the ‘bow tie’ logo latest design from General Motors.

Cruze from the looks alone, managed to arouse the to taste it. Do not need much consideration, the door opened and we can see Chevrolet Cruze cabin space.

Seemed to be a racer, that’s the impression could catch before we drive the Cruze. With a racing-style steering wheel and cruise control behind the wheel to the left makes you ready for action with the Cruze.

Racing sensation can also be seen from the speedometer display, fuel indicator is equipped with a list of chrome on the sides.Glancing into the middle dashboard centered design formed a V on the center console, really presents a challenge to drive. Starting from the Meter cluster with Translucent Ring with Chrome Top, Ice Blue cohesive, clearly provides a pleasant outlook, including Driver Information Display is able to convey information to the driver.

So, rest assured, you will not want to give the driver’s seat to someone else, because the Chevrolet Cruze has to invite you to drive it yourself, feel it yourself!

Engine started, a quick glance at GM’s transmission lever-Tiptronik 6 speed. Imagine how the performance of the 1.8-liter DOHC Ecotec engine Double Continuous (DCVCP).

Delta II platform, is capable of producing power reaches 141 dk at 6200 rpm and 176 nm torque at 3800 rpm, at least hoping to compensate for this big body middle sedan from Chevrolet.

Step on the gas pedal, acceleration was smooth, almost without a jolt. So also when I started sliding on the highway. Although push the gas pedal a bit in, but the transmission can reduce power jolt of Cruze. Therefore, not felt figures on the speedometer was showing 160 km per hour.

Although, unfortunately, the position of D on the transmission is only good for constantly acceleration, not the acceleration in the extreme. Because if you press the gas pedal more strong, feel the beat when the transmission move at 3500 rpm.

However, once the transmission lever moved to the 6-speed GM-Tiptronik, then feel if this Chevrolet sedan can be invited to a little racing, because it supported by a rigid suspension.

Chevrolet Cruze control, even in high-speed spelled comfortable. Extreme maneuvers, even if not to create the body get rid. Although the risk is felt when we moving slowly, suspension of Chevrolet Cruze feel to be a little hard.

Chevrolet Cruze also has features that are complete for the sedan class. When the rain for example, no need to worry, because the wiper will function automatically with the rain sensor.

Cruise control likewise, can save stamina when driving. Also with some features like Automatic headlamp with Tunnel Detection and Follow Me Home and Welcome Light.

Not to mention Cruze-based audio systems and computerized machine controller connected to the CPU and the transmission of so-called GM LAN. Thus, the gas pedal is pressed, the more increased the volume, adjust the requirements in the cabin.

This is what makes Cruze suitable as an alternative option in the middle of a flood of Japanese sedans class.
