Exterior

Under the hood

Under the hood of the Kizashi lies a 2.4-litre VVT DOHC inline-four petrol engine that delivers potent performance. An impressive 176bhp, and 0-100km/h in 8.8 seconds. Power and fuel efficiency are promoted by measures that include maximised intake-valve lift, a plastic intake manifold, aluminium pistons with low tensile forced rings, lightweight aluminium engine block and cylinder heads.

Safety

Standard active safety equipment include the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) – heightening driver confidence with increased stability during acceleration, cornering and emergency manoeuvres. Overview

Hyundai’s 2007 Avante is the seventh all-new model from Hyundai in just 24 months, giving Hyundai the freshest lineup in the industry. All new from headlight to taillight, Avante brings more refinement, safety and interior space to compact car shoppers.

Exterior

Avante continues the dramatic new styling resurgence introduced on the all-new 2007 Santa Fe refined and confident. This new theme resonates in Avante’s assertive front appearance, rising beltline, sculpted body side and an overall lively appearance. For a more upscale appearance, chrome headlight bezels and grille bars highlight Avante’s assertive face.

Interior

The Avante’s comfortable and versatile seating includes a multi-adjustable driver’s seat with height adjustment, adjustable head restraints and a 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback that makes it easy to accommodate cargo. The dashboard slopes downward to give a feeling of more space and greater visibility while offering an aesthetic shape. The contrasting two-tone color schemes (available in beige and gray tones) combined with metallic finishes match the more sophisticated and upscale exterior styling.

Under the hood

Hyundai’s advanced 1.6-liter in-line four-cylinder engine powers Avante. This sophisticated 16-valve powerplant employs an aluminum cylinder head that features dual overhead camshafts (DOHC) and Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT). The combination helps give the engine a very broad power spread, coupled with high fuel efficiency and low emissions. Avante churns out 121ps/6,200rpm and 15.6kg.m/ 4,200rpm of torque.

Safety

All Avante models have two standard airbags, including two advanced front airbags, two front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, and two side curtain airbags protecting front- and rear-seat outboard passengers. The combination of side and curtain airbags, which help protect the head and body during side impacts. The Avante’s standard power braking system has front and rear discs with a four-sensor, four-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) that includes Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). ABS helps the driver maintain vehicle steering control in slippery conditions and in emergency maneuvers. EBD is integrated into the ABS, automatically adjusting the braking force to front and rear axles based on the vehicle loading conditions.

Geneva – The global automotive industry competition to produce environmentally friendly cars seem to drag a lot of parties to participate in order to make cars more greener. Not only ordinary car manufacturers, even exotic car manufacturers like Ferrari was also dragged the trend and showed their first hybrid car at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.

This Ferrari’s environmentally friendly cars will not only carry the hybrid technology, but also will take on the entire wheels drive systems, aka all-wheel drive system (AWD).

Geneva Motor show 2010: Ferrari 599 Hybrid

As one of the players in Formula 1, Ferrari also apply KERS system (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) in the hybrid car. That is one of the difference between Ferrari hybrid cars with another hybrid cars. This system can save fuel consumption and lower emissions. This means that, besides saving fuel KERS systems can also make this Ferrari to be more environmentally friendly. Ferrari promised KERS will improve fuel efficiency by 30 percent.

Ferrari hybrid with KERS system will provide tremendous impetus with just a touch to the buttons. “That was one of the avant-garde technology. We’re building a car with most of the parts are used innovative technologies. We will present a hybrid version of 599 in Geneva Motor Show 2010, which would represent a big way towards the future,” said Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo, on Friday (5/3/2010).

Ferrari 599 first appeared in year 2006, about four years ago and since that times rumors about the hybrid version already reported in various media. The introduction of this 599 hybrid cars is quick. Because previous rumors said that this car will come out at 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Possibility said that, this Ferrari first hybrid car will collaborate electricity from the battery ferociously configured with V8 engine that would still be offering the sensation of driving a sports car, although this is a hybrid cars.

Performance-enhancing features and race-inspired design makes the all-new LS 460 Sport the most exhilarating package available to the LS Line.

Pad life may be less than 20,000 miles, and brake rotor life may be less than 50,000 miles depending on driving conditions) and a sport-tuned suspension, with the use of springs and shocks with stiffer rates, sport-tuned suspension gives the driver greater feedback from the road and decreases body sway that will help deliver an incredibly capable ride.

Lexus LS 460 Sport

Exterior style of the new LS 460 Sport gives the LS distinct, performance-oriented style. To begin with, it features an aggressive front sport grille, 19-inch split-10-spoke forged alloy wheels (19-in performance tires are expected to experience greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be substantially less than 15,000 miles, depending upon driving conditions), rocker panel-extensions and front spoilers that dip aggressively low to the ground.
