If you readers out there aren’t too sure what the current generation of Focus RS is, it is basically a Focus with a 2.5liter 5 cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 300bhp.
Pontiac is no more. After 84 years of producing Pontiacs, General Motors have ceased producing the brand famed for the GTO, Trans Am and the Firebird. It joins other GM brands like Geo, Saturn, Oldsmobile and Hummer in automobile heaven. Or hell, depending on how you think of the brand. I especially like the 1970s Trans Am or Firebird, complete with that Firebird that looks like a flaming chicken. Very 70’s kitsch.
Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E has just opened its doors to paying customers. For 225 Arab Emirates Dinars or about US$60 per person, you get to enter a theme park filled with Ferrari themed roller coasters, other Ferrari rides and access to lots of Ferrari merchandise of various sorts. All fine and dandy but the press release pictures had some eagle eyed automotive blog readers slightly humored. And would be a slightly embarrassing one for Ferrari.
There are many supercars out there today that can blow your mind away, but none have destroyed mine the way the Zonda has. Though it was a short ride and I didn’t get to drive it, it still left an impression in me that its the best supercar i’ll ever get close to. For now.
Subaru has finally brought out a STI (Subaru Tecnica International) tuned Forester for its Japan Domestic Market (JDM) with the Forester tS. This is the second tS model after the Legacy tS which Subaru debuted last June. The tS moniker basically stands for Tuned By STi and is basically a Subaru with some STi performance bits, unlike the full monty Impreza STi which is basically designed from the outset by Subaru’s tuning arm, STi.
