Review: 2010 Mercedes SL R230 PD Series by Prior Design
Prior Design has released a new tuning package called the Series PD based on the Mercedes SL R230 SL65 AMG and inspired by the Black Series. Mercedes finished in time to be disclosed on the show this year at Tuning World Bodensee.
Seeing the vehicle, can not be denied is a mixture of R230 and Mercedes SL65 AMG SL Black Series. Before the design was taken from R230 SL elegant and adds aggressiveness of AMG Black Series. The front of the car get a front spoiler with large air holes greedy and futuristic facelift lights a-la-R230. Vent hood found on the Black Series will be eliminated to make hat looks lifted straight from the R230′s. wheel arches and rear bumper of a perfectly round wheel arches the other side it is getting impressive. The back of the Mercedes SL R230 Series PD bit more original and more than this tense two Mercedes cars. Trapezoidal exhaust tailpipes have been switched out for the quad round tips and rear spoiler looks to have a sharp edge. This is also a diffuser based on race and the use of technology Airmatic suspension to ensure proper car hugs the ground. The whole package is complete with wheel lip PD1 (bed three-piece stainless steel outside, black finish).
Mercedes SL R230 Series looks to be PD images have cake and eat well. Engine specification was not opened, but we can only hope that this will bring the setup found on the AMG Black Series for a serious thrill ride.
