Cancellation comes from Tata Nano consumers who book a car through online system. Tata Motors did not say how many prospective buyers who decided to cancel the purchase. The information obtained is because consumers are too long to wait the pivot.
“Maybe consumers cancel the booking of Tata Nano because they are too long to wait for the car. That’s their choice. But we have been informed if the car is ready to be sent,” Tata Motors spokesman said as quoted by the Financial Express on Sunday (09/01/2011).
Since mid-2009 until late 2009, Tata Motors has managed to send a total of 77 thousand units of Tata Nano. And for 2010 Tata Motors plans to send as many as 155 thousand units of Tata Nano to customers in two phases.
